About me

Hi my name is Tracy. I am a certified postpartum doula and I have the highest respect for the abilities of new parents to educate themselves, to make their own choices, and to nurture their babies. My role is to support and facilitate the birth and postpartum experience you desire and to help smooth the bumps in the road that can accompany this wonderful and unpredictable life event. I come to birth work from a nanny background ; I spent more than 15 years growing and learning.. I was privileged to witness two births that changed my life and showed me the immense value of experienced support for women and families in the perinatal period. I am in the process of completing my first Birth Doula training with CAPPA and have finished my Postpartum doula training. As a life-long learner I was confident that I could adapt the wide variety of training available in this field to serve my clients and continually improve myself and my services. I am consistently described by clients as calm, compassionate, and gentle. I have a true heart for parents and babies and a passion for my role as a caregiver. I recognize the importance of the whole spectrum of the perinatal period and am available to assist families from pregnancy and birth through breastfeeding, parenting and beyond.
