After childbirth, if assistance is required, a postpartum doula offers invaluable non-medical aid during the crucial days and weeks post-delivery. This support encompasses emotional, physical, and informational aspects. While the doula does assist with newborn care, her central emphasis lies on supporting the mother and her family. This includes aiding with light household tasks, preparing meals for the mother, providing postpartum massages, and caring for the baby to allow the mother to rest.
