Greetings, Everyone! My name is Teneka, and I am a certified full spectrum doula with a focus on postpartum support, newborn care specialist, and certified CPR and BLS instructor. I currently support families in Cypress, Katy, Fulshear, Jersey Village, The Heights, and Midtown areas of the Houston metropolitan area. As a mother of three adult sons with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, I have dedicated my life to supporting others through some of life’s most profound transitions. My personal birthing experiences, each resulting in C-sections, included life-threatening complications during my last delivery and the postpartum period. These challenges ignited a passion within me to be the eyes, ears, hands, and voice for anyone undergoing significant life changes, like welcoming new life to the Earthside. My approach is grounded in respect for your choices, reverence for the recovery process, and a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of childbirth and postpartum recovery. I strive to create a safe, nurturing space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to make informed decisions that align with your values and preferences. As your partner in these sacred journeys, I am committed to providing holistic services that honor your individual needs, respect your culture and values, and support your transition into a new phase of life. Together, let’s create beautiful beginnings and cherish every moment as you welcome new life and embrace your new self.
