I will be giving birth (first time) in a hospital and am primarily searching for a birth doula. I would like to emphasize non-medicated pain relief options, but I am not completely ruling out other options. As I likely won't know the provider delivering my baby, it's important for me to have a knowledgeable advocate who I have an existing relationship with. Additionally/separately, I am interested in night nanny options for a brief time during the postpartum period.

Plan to give birth in Tacoma at St. Joseph Family Birth Center. My goal is to go as natural as possible- labor at home for as long as possible and avoid pictocin is my big one. Prefer no epidural. We do live 45-60min from the hospital.

I have double insurance and am trying to find a doula that takes my insurances. I have had 2 c-sections, I am praying for a VBAC for my 3rd baby. I had my last child 6 years ago. I am 29 years old. I plan to give birth in a hospital. I have HG which restricted movement in my last labor. I am open to an epidural but am also hoping to try for an unmedicated birth. I had panic attacks during my last labor because of the pain (Pitocin was started too early and too strong). I had preeclampsia last time and might this time as well which might result in another induction.
