About me

I am a certified labor/birth and postpartum doula. I am also a Newborn Care Specialist and a certified newborn sleep specialist and sleep coach. In addition to giving birth to 10 children myself, I have helped hundreds of families in the nearly 30 years I've been doing this work. I feel it really DOES take a village to raise a child, and I am always honored to be invited to that village. Whether it's assisting in getting information so parents can make informed decisions in labor or birth, or teaching new parents how to bathe their babies, or establishing sleep routines to help all household members to "sleep like a baby", the role I am invited into is an important one that I do not take lightly.

Service introduction

I offer birth and postpartum services, and have many years of experience in working with parents who've adopted, used surrogates, had little (or no) experience with babies, and parents who simply want sleep after adding a newborn to their home.

In-home Sleep Training
Starting at 8-10 weeks after birth (for most babies), I will provide in-home sleep training. To do this, I will spend the night in the client's home, establishing routines to help Baby fall asleep faster (and STAY asleep). Each night is 10 hours. Most often, the job is completed within 2 weeks, but can take longer if the technique selected isn't suitable. The price quoted is for each week of training in-home. Consultations, emails, and other forms of virtual communication are included for up to 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after sleep training begins and ends. The fee for one week (5 consecutive 10-hour nights) of training is $2625. Additional weeks may be scheduled, at an additional cost.

We are very glad that we had tabitha for the first 3 months for our son. She is very professional and so compassionate. She is loving and caring and taught us so much about baby caring.
