Susan is absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to anyone! My husband and I had never considered the idea of having a doula for my pregnancy and birth of our son, but then we attended a class that she helped teach. The benefits of having a doula were explained and we instantly knew that we wanted to have one. Susan was so informative, excited about her work and welcoming - we connected with her right away! We loved how involved she was from the very beginning of us deciding to work with her. She met with us to determine if she would be a good fit - which she was! Once we hired her as our doula, we had multiple lunches to discuss our birth preferences and to answer any and all questions we had. During birth and delivery, she helped us determine when contractions were close enough to head to the hospital, she helped me work through the pain, and made us feel safe and prepared. When it was time for me to push, my son had the cord wrapped around and his stats were dropping. Susan, the doctors and the nurses helped keep me calm throughout that and made sure me and baby were safe! Once our son was born, Susan stayed with us to help with skin to skin and with the initial breastfeeding. We were so worried that I would have a traumatic birth, but with Susan by our side that was absolutely NOT the case. If / when we have another baby, we will 1000% have her by our side again - we LOVE her!

Susan was an absolutely wonderful doula! She was so supportive and calming throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Her support helped ensure my birth went as hoped/planned.

Best experience my husband and I could have had! Susan was very experienced and knowledgeable as we had many conversations prior to going to the hospital to plan ahead. She helped develop my birth plan and made sure the hospital staff respected and knew it as well. Susan was there for us the whole way even before we drove to the hospital and made sure I was comfortable both mentally and physically. Her coaching and comforting words helped me get in a good mindset for the long labor ahead and stood up for us when a doctor wanted to move faster than was necessary, helping guide our decisions for the safest possible birth of our baby boy. My husband and I regard her as family and hope to see her again in a few years when we have another child.

I genuinely cannot rate Susan highly enough. Shes a 10 out of 5 stars. A truly genuine human with a passion for helping people navigate the transition into becoming parents. She anticipates your needs, always there when you need her, easy to talk to and just KNOWS her stuff. Puts you at ease right away. I trusted her immediately and that’s priceless. I’ll never be able to thank her enough for all the ways she kept me sane during one of the toughest seasons of my life!
