I have always enjoyed helping others. I started my training in the medical field at the young age of 17 when I became a Certified Nurse Assistant. I continued my studies and became a Certified Medical Assistant, Although pregnancy was not easy for my body I thoroughly enjoyed being pregnant. With each pregnancy I was taught natural ways to cope and how to give my body what it needed. This gave me the desire to help other women, that desire continued to grow through each of my 5 pregnancies/ births to the point that I delivered my last baby unassisted and was able to catch her myself. I began my formal training with DONA in 2022 and became a certified birth doula in 2023. I have since worked with 4 midwives. in doing so I have gained great hands on experience and knowledge. I have been blessed to help many women through their own birth experiences. I look forward to continuing to serve and empower women for years to come. I want to continue the tradition of empowering and enriching women’s pregnancies and births, like my midwives did for me. Being a doula I get to do just that

I will meet with you at least once to become acquainted, to explore and discuss your priorities and any concerns, to discuss your birth plan and to plan how we might best work together. I will be available by phone and will be with you in person the moment you are in active labor. I will be with you and aide you through your birth. I will remain with you for one to two hours after birth, until you are comfortable and your family is ready for quiet time together. If necessary, I can also help with initial breastfeeding. I am available to answer questions about the birth, or your baby, and would like to get together within a few weeks to see how you and your baby are doing, to review
