I plan to give birth at Kaiser hospital. My budget is covered by my insurance, as I was informed that Kaiser will be paying for the doula services. I am not entirely sure about my birth plan yet, but I would like support throughout labor and delivery to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience

I am looking for a doula that is Jewish that can be my coach during birth/labor. I want someone to be with me during the entire labor/birth. I am a Jewish woman and want someone who is also jewish to support me. I plan to give birth at Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, CA. My budget is $2500. I am attempting to have a VBAC with a light epidural assisted by an OBGYN.

I plan to give birth at kaiser woodland hills medical center. I am looking for someone to help before during and after where tips and shrinks or easier delivery and help with smoother postpartum baby care. My original due date was September 17th, but because of my recent gestational diabetes, they want to induce labor about a week earlier. I do want to breastfeed so someone who is knowledgeable in that area would be very helpful. I am okay with getting an epidural, we are leaning towards circumcision for our baby boy but not totally decided, I do not want the HEPB shot or eyedrops given when my child is first born.

Im going to be admitted and induced starting Aug 16, Saturday at Kaiser Woodland Hills. Im currently at 36 weeks and the reason why i needed to be induced earlier os because i have pre ecclampsia.

Im helping my daughter set up contact with a doula. She was very upset when the dr at 34 wks said " we might as well set up the induction now" the baby is long and they said the baby already weighs 5 lbs. My daughter feels shes being primed for an unnecessary induction and c- section, with out and concrete reason. She also is can get depressed and has periodically needed to medicate so we have to watch for PPD. My daughter is Vegan. She is a school teacher of sixth graders ans will probably stop work around the 37th week. She plans a hospital birth at Northridge hospital. Doesnt want a c section, if not truely medically needed. She plans to have hisband and mom there and mom for a few days postpartum. She will breatfeed which is really important since she is Vegan. If there are any dulas available she can talk to them after school.
