As a labor and delivery nurse myself, I have strong opinions on what makes a good doula. I know that Shelby is an excellent support person -- she has the tools to help support you physically and emotionally, she'll help you figure out what's important to you and how to express it, and she'll do it with a framework of teamwork with your medical providers and not impede the safety of you and your baby.
