Hi there! I'm Shannon - a full-spectrum birth doula, certified postpartum doula, and childbirth educator. My love for supporting families during their transition into parenthood began during my undergraduate studies, and since then, I've been committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of expectant parents. Through my work as a birth doula for the past five years, I've witnessed firsthand the care and support gaps in our highly medicalized healthcare system. It's my calling to fill those gaps and provide the emotional, physical, and educational support that families deserve during this transformative time. I'm a proud doula-graduate of Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings and StillBirthday University, where I became a certified Birth and Bereavement doula. My trainings have given me the skills and knowledge to support families through every aspect of their journey, from the prenatal period to postpartum recovery and beyond. As a doula, I am passionate about empowering families to make informed decisions about their care and supporting them as they navigate the complexities of childbirth. My mission is to help families have a positive and transformative experience, no matter what twists and turns their journey may take.

As a doula I offer both birth & postpartum services. My birth services include prenatal meetings, birth planning discussion of hopes and fears, continuous pregnancy and labor+birth support. I also offer to take photos on your phones during the birth and immediately postpartum. As a postpartum doula, I offer physical & emotional support in recovery, light housework ( bottle washing + sterilization, laundry, dishes), body/breastfeeding education, care for older siblings, babywearing education and much more,
