About me

Hi my name is Sarina, I am from Boise Idaho, and I am a woman who has worn many hats in my professional life. For example, some roles I have been in are - Asst. General Manager - Nanny + House Manager - Executive Asst. - Personal Asst. - Pier Manager.. and in most of these roles I have found myself struggling to find my why or to figure out what truly sets my heart on fire. My heart has always revolved around women, children and families. Which has been why I will often resort back to being a nanny, house manager or personal assistant. However this still was not the end result for me - becoming a trained and Dona certified Postpartum Doula was. Entering into this beautiful holistic world of being a doula has been so incredible. I am able to mix the skills, education and experience I have into one lovely bubble. I have 10+ years of child care - 5 of those years being newborn and infant care. I have worked with single child families, growing families & also a family with 3 sets of twins and a sweet girl without a twin. Incredible right?! I started nannying for this family before the last 2 sets of twins were born so I helped raise and take care of the entire family for 3.5 years. The youngest sets of twins were 11 months apart and the older kids at the time were 6, 7 & 7. A day in the life of caring for these families included but was not limited to - daily + over night + newborn care - nutrition education + meal prep + newborn & toddler feeding - traveling + light house keeping + laundry + house management - newborn education + Montessori education with toddlers Though I do not have a ton of experience with the title postpartum doula, I have been in this world of care for many years and now have even more education to assist families in their journey of bringing their baby home. I would love to chat about what this postpartum journey looks like for you and your family.
