About me

I am a DONA International Certified Birth Doula, Registered Nurse and Medicaid provider. I believe everyone deserves a doula who wants one and that knowledge is power! I chose the name “Cherished Child” because I’ve done a lot of work with trauma, C-PTSD, codependency and generational hurts and believe that your inner child is just as deserving of love and support as the new child you are bringing Earth-side. I believe that vulnerability is strength… and birth can and will make us vulnerable! Together, we can create an empowering and positive birth experience… one that you will love talking about for decades!

Service introduction

I offer two pre-natal visits for education and preference planning and one post-natal visit to “swaddle” things up. I will be your on-call resource during pregnancy and when the big time comes! I will also provide a backup doula, as is standard practice. I also gift a Rebozo (beautiful Mexican made shawl) for comfort and memories, and can loan you a TENS Unit if desired.
