My name is Nicole and I'm currently 23.5 weeks pregnant. I'm 42 years old and I'll be 43 in December. I am not religious nor spiritual. This is my first baby. I am looking for an advocate in the birthing room and am hoping to have a natural unmedicated birth. As a plus sized person I feel like I get bullied by the medical establishment regularly and don't want to have pitocin and c-sections forced on me because it's easier for the doctor's. I would also like aftercare and lactation help. My plan is to labor at home as long as possible then have my daughter at Kaiser San Leandro. My due date is 1/15/2026. Kaiser covers 11 visits for us over the course of a year.
