Hi, I am almost 11 weeks pregnant. I’ve really been struggling. I have hypothyroidism and iron deficiency. I believe it is exacerbating my pregnancy symptoms. My GP and OB had not been helpful and have been dismissive. I need help. I’m planning to give birth at French Hospital in San Luis Obispo.
I'm looking for a trauma informed Hispanic doula that would be ok with a previously abused minor mother to help her navigate birth with autonomy and sensitivity
Would be nice to have an at home birth. I'm Currently looking for work so I don't have a budget just Medicaid. I'm also still trying to figure out a birth plan.
This is my first pregnancy and I'm unsure where I want to give birth. I've always wanted to do an unmedicated home birth if able. My estimated budget is about $5000. I do not have a birth plan in place yet, that's part of what I want help with. I would like for the person to have multiple years of experience. I am 23 years old and would like someone who also helps to do a lot of educating for my husband and I since neither of us know much about this yet.
I plan on giving birth at the hospital but I really would love a doula to help me and my boyfriend get through it, our first pregnancy. So super nervous and to advocate for us at the hospital to how I want things and things I don’t want etc
First time mom, Hospital Birth, max budget $2000. I am super active, an athlete and keen on staying active during prenatal care. I am type A and my husband wants to be really involved. I would love to have someone in the birth room to be able to advocate for me
Having a c section at hospital but would like to have support still. I am looking for a Doula who is covered by my insurance
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and looking for a certified birth doula for a planned VBAC at Cottage Hospital. I’m hoping to move quickly as I finalize support for labor and postpartum. A little about me: this is my second baby after a prior C-section, and having strong support for a VBAC is really important to me. We also have a 15-month-old son at home, so postpartum and lactation support are of interest as well. I’d love to see if we might be a fit and had a few quick questions: * Do you have availability around my due date (July 20th)? * How many VBACs have you supported, and how many at Cottage Hospital? * What is your approach to supporting VBAC moms and helping reduce repeat C-section risk? *How do you typically work with partners during labor? * What birth, postpartum, and/or lactation support options do you offer? * What does pricing look like, and do you offer packages that combine birth + postpartum/lactation support? If it sounds like a potential fit, I’d love to set up a quick call this week. Thank you so much! Megan
