I plan on giving birth at Mary Birch hospital late December and am searching for a doula within the SHARP network. I have a high risk pregnancy due to my age (41) and gestational diabetes, and am preparing myself for what feels like an inevitable early induction/c-section and would like an advocate for that process. This is my first child and many of my friends have expressed how helpful it was to have a doula for the postpartum adjustment period. Because this service is covered by my health insurance, my budget is very flexible.

We are using a surrogate. We need a night doula who can assist us 5 days a week for the first month and then probably 4 days, then 3 days, and finally 2 days a week up to 3 months after birth.

We are older parents with a 7 week old baby and we need some help during nighttime hours (12 PM- 8 AM) for a few nights per week just so that we can sleep. No additional duties, just bottle feeding, diaper changing, bathing etc. We can pay $20/hour.
