I have been providing doula service even before being certified. I've been providing services since I was thirteen. It's part of my culture, It's just naturally in me. I made it official a little under two years ago. I have attended 50+ births. Providing birth and postpartum care. I feel birth is a judgement free zone. I have been teaching Childbirth Education and Breastfeeding for the past 11 years. I am a Mom of 6, a Nana to 3, a Registered Nurse and an IBCLC. I work at a large hospital healthcare system, Advocate Aurora Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL. Though our hospital classes are still virtual, I do also teach private classes in your home or other venue of your choice. (I am fully vaccinated and boosted).
