I plan to give birth in the hospital. I’m not sure on the budget I would like to use my insurance and honestly it’s still early days so I don’t have much of a birth plan. I know I would like to be as natural as possible, I would like someone who will help me feel as comfortable as possible. Someone that will listen to my needs, discomforts and wants and make sure they are heard.

Single first time mom(by choice) with small direct support system in the area. Hoping to find help with understanding what to expect during the birth process, prepare for birth (hospital setting with holistic practices included) and help learning what to do after baby arrives. I’m a nurse, but have been in adult ICU settings my whole practice (honestly, the OB and L&D areas have always terrified me) but I love to research and learn, so if we get paired, book and article suggestions would be much appreciated! I’m hoping to employ some water based poses/options into at least my labor if not also the delivery as the water has always been my happy place. Definitely a big proponent of a healthy but balanced lifestyle and trying not to put too much pressure on myself to make this whole experience perfect, but just enjoy the ride. Budget is preferably around or under $1500 total

1. Currently planning on Inova hospital, but I’m switching to a midwife shortly so that might change. 2. Would love to spend under $1500, but have some flexibility. 3. The only thing I want is a healthy baby and no c-section.
