Hi! My name is Rachel Freedman and I’m here to help you with all things baby! I am a certified childbirth educator and doula! Currently, I am a student at Simmons University studying Public Health, and I am set to graduate in December of 2023. I fell in love with doula care due to its caring and relationship-driven nature. I am here for you, to be the helper that you need during this life-changing experience. My birth philosophy is that pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood is the experience of a lifetime that you have the ability to shape. You are in charge of your pregnancy, your birth, and your baby. I am simply here to provide physical, emotional, and informational support.

As a doula, my role is to be here for you and your partner throughout this beautiful journey! Schedule a consultation call with me and we’ll chat to create the perfect package to provide you with the support you need! Birth Doula Services A birth doula is your support from the moment you sign your contract until your baby is safe and sound at home. You’ll have prenatal visits comprised of education and birth plan work. Once you hit the 38 week point your doula is on call 24/7, and the moment you start labor they’ll be there to support you and your partner for the duration of labor and up to an hour post-birth. Postpartum Doula Services A postpartum doula's role is to support you as you transition into the world of parenthood. This service includes baby care, household errands/chores, emotional health check-ins, and education on feeding, safe sleep, developmental milestones, and how to care for your healing body. Also available with a postpartum doula is overnight care, this care involves the doula caring for your baby throughout the night while you get some well-deserved rest.
