Hello, we are seeking a birth doula for an EDD of March 31, 2025 at Legacy Emanuel in Portland, Oregon. We are trying for a VBAC and appreciate a culturally informed approach to birth.

I am a single mother currently in Vancouver, Washington, and would like to give birth at Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital. I would love to have a home birth, but it’s not within my budget. Therefore, I am utilizing my insurance. I’ve been told that Sunnyside Kaiser location allows for less invasive birth. I’m not fully certain, but I think I would like to have an unmedicated birth and implement things like delayed cord clamping. Since the father and I are not together, and he has a really busy schedule, I would like to feel supported in the birth room and have someone by my side who is knowledgeable and who I can trust and can advocate for me and my baby and my preferences. I haven’t yet come up with a budget, although currently finances are a struggle so I’m looking for something feasible and affordable I am a first time mom currently four months pregnant.

1) I plan on giving birth at the Oregon city birthplace which is a part of the Women's healthcare alliance OBGYN midwifes and the providence hospital. 2) I don't have an estimated budget at this time, since I don't know what to expect. 3) The only things I have on my birth plan are to have a midwife deliver my baby, and no unnecessary interventions, ie Pitocin, epidural, erythromycin eye ointment or any vaccines upon birth. I will be accepting the vitamin K injection. I want to wait until the cord has fully stopped pulsing and the blood has drained before clamping the cord upon birth. I also would like to utilize the bathtub they have available in the birth rooms. More development of my birth plan would also be appreciated with doulas help.

Newberg Providence Hospital 2000 is budget for doula Birth plan: I have a cerclage being taken out on May 7th. My hope is soon after I will go in to labor and get to do labor in the bath. And then try and go as long as possible without needed an epidural. I’m not opposed to getting an epidural. I would like to breast feed asap after birth. No vaccines, no circumcision and the least invasive as possible with my newborn. I’d also like to do placenta encapsulation.

Giving birth a bridge birthing center and looking for a doula for support and coaching throughout my natural birth to assist and be a secondary hand to help husband as well as give us support at home before we go to the birthing center and educate us on when the right time to leave is etc

We are due October 24th. My sister gave birth at week 39 for her two kids and my mom gave birth at week 42 for all three of my sisters. We plan on giving birth at home, probably in the bathtub. We building a house and having a wedding and a baby this year so the budget is tight but we do have friends and family to help. We are fans of natural medicine, we aren’t plant based but we lean that way. Im not sure what else to say. We want a friend feeling with our doula.
