I am Pascale Jean Simon. I have been in the mental health field for over 10 years. Within my careers I have the privileged of working with adolescents, adults and families who are struggling with a range of challenges. We specialize but are not limited to: trauma, PTSD, depression, stress, anxiety, anger, interpersonal relationship issues, marital discord. We also provide Doula services to our patients from Birth, to postpartum. We offer a comfortable, peaceful, safe and supportive space environment for you to talk freely and explore feelings, emotions and issues contributing to your unhappiness or dissatisfaction. Doula Birth and Postpartum
1. **Prenatal Support:** - Initial Consultation: A complimentary meeting to discuss your birth preferences, answer questions, and determine if we’re a good fit. - Prenatal Visits: Up to 3 in-home visits to discuss birth plans, comfort measures, and relaxation techniques. We’ll cover topics such as pain management, coping strategies, and newborn care. - Continual Communication: Email and phone support throughout your pregnancy for questions or concerns. 2. **Birth Support:** - Continuous Labor Support: On-call availability starting two weeks before your due date, and support during labor and delivery. Your doula will provide physical and emotional support, advocate for your wishes, and help create a calming environment. - Comfort Measures: Techniques such as breathing exercises, massage, positioning, and use of water to ensure optimal comfort during labor. 3. **Postpartum Support:** - Postpartum Visits: Up to 3 visits in the first weeks after birth, focusing on recovery, newborn care, and adjusting to life with a new baby. - Breastfeeding Support: Assistance and guidance with breastfeeding, including latching techniques and troubleshooting common challenges. - Resource Referral: Information on community resources, groups, and local services for additional postpartum support.
