I am being induced on Dec 18th, because of placental insufficiency and growth restriction due to a Down syndrome diagnosis. I plan to get an epidural, so I am ready to go if we need a C-section. I will be 37 weeks pregnant with our first baby. I plan to have my husband and my mother in the room with me during the induction process. I would also like to breastfeed.

I plan to give birth at kaiser baldwin park. I have doula coverage under kaiser foundation health plan insurance. I had a bad experience with an epidural and with latching and would like support in those areas. First child had lip/tongue tie and difficulty latching, I had flat nipples and difficulty pumping. I would like another epidural. My husband may be with our child during/after birth so would like extra support if that happens.

I plan to give birth in Kaiser Sunset, I would like these services to be fully covered by kaiser.
