Teni has been amazing! She's always on time, professional and really thoughtful in her care and support for our son. While her time with us was for overnight support with our newborn, she's also been great with providing me some guidance on breastfeeding (while I was doing it), didn't give any judgement when our plans/approach to parenting changed, and has been really great to just have around (personally and our place always ends up cleaner when she leaves vs when she got here!). We talk briefly at the beginning and end of her shift so we can connect on the day and provide any details about our son's care - after that, she's all about the baby! She's very attentive and thoughtful - it's been so wonderful to have her around, you can tell she really cares about out son. I would recommend her to anyone who asks - she's been an amazing help for us and we'll be sad when our contract ends :(

Teni was my post partum doula for a little over 3 months. During the interview process I was impressed by her extensive healthcare history and background. She has a very warm and caring bedside manner and was a great resource as things came up in post partum. As a first time mom I had a lot of questions and anxiety regarding things like breastfeeding, post partum recovery, helping baby sleep while also getting enough rest myself, and trying to balance my old life of being a student, work, and my new life as a mom. Teni was incredible and very kindly guided me through all of the challenges of post partum and it was very comforting to have someone so knowledgeable helping at night. Throughout our time together she seamlessly became a part of our family and provided great advice and reassurance. My husband said it was very helpful to feel "less alone" in the process of adjusting to having a new family member. Because he was able to get enough sleep on nights Teni was caring for baby, my husband was able to take better care of me and baby on the days we didn't have extra support. I highly recommend Teni as a postpartum doula. Her skills and expertise make her a great asset for anyone needing support postpartum.
