My passion for supporting, educating, and empowering women giving birth stems from my desire to combat the maternal and infant health crisis that disproportionately impacts the birth experiences and outcomes of Black women. It is my goal to help all birthing people: learn to trust in their bodies; learn to trust themselves to make informed decisions about and advocate for the birth experience they desire; and, have culturally appropriate and non-clinical emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after birth.

I offer birth and postpartum doula services as well as overnight newborn care.
Nishante has been my son's childcare provider for nearly two years, starting when he was six months old. She is reliable, calm, funny and no-nonsense and truly cares about our family and my son. She has become part of our family and has worked with us through so many milestones, including sleep training and potty training, and we are so grateful to have her. She stays clear-headed in a crisis but is firm and tough (but still kind) when necessary, and I am sure those qualities make her an amazing doula as well.
