Nina went above and beyond to help us when we really needed it. I was struggling with breastfeeding after we returned from the hospital. She not only helped me, through sharing her technical knowledge, but really sat with me and went through every step patiently and compassionately. My nipples were raw from initial feedings and she showed me techniques and ointments to heal which they did super quickly and I got to return to feeding. She really helped me get back on track during an hard moment. She also instructed me with pumping and how to do that while my breasts healed, as while as successfully while breastfeeding. She gave as much moral support and offered as much kindness and compassion as she did invaluable information. I can’t say enough about how helpful she was. She also brought me epsom salt just as a favor. Also worth noting is how Nina was so responsive and available via text. We even FaceTimed once when I had questions; she is very generous with her time and resources and always got back to me with helpful info and encouragement, even texting me to just check in sometimes. My husband and I also took a birthing class with her before I gave birth to my daughter. She was well-prepared with handouts and slides and props, and yet it didn’t feel like information overload, it was all relevant and digestible and gave us a lot of reassurance and confidence. 5 big stars for Nina. Would recommend her to anyone especially regarding lactation support!
