I have always had a passion for caring for, educating, and supporting families. I began my career over 15 years ago as a pediatric nurse working in home health, the children’s hospital, and as a neonatal intensive care nurse. After years of working with moms, babies, and families, I became more and more passionate about breastfeeding and earned my IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). Since then, I have spent years helping and empowering breastfeeding mothers and I would love to offer you comfortable support and care!

Here’s what you can expect from our visits: Support and care just as you are. During our time together, I look forward to hearing about your journey so far. I want to hear all of the joys and strengths as well as the challenges and tears so far. I’ll usually start by asking, “how are things going?” and I actually, honestly want to know! Hearing your experiences, your goals, and your ups and downs, helps me figure out how to best support you. It also helps to define what success looks like to you and how I can help you get there. From there, I’ll share both information and application to begin tackling your breastfeeding challenges. I’ll share all I can to help you, teach you, empower you, and support you on your breastfeeding journey, no matter where you are in your journey. As I help you learn new information, new skills, tips, and tricks, I’ll help ensure you and your baby stay healthy. It’s my goal to relieve a little stress and bring a little more joy to your parenting journey. It genuinely humbles and amazes me that through my work as a nurse and lactation consultant in multiple settings, I’ve helped transform the lives of parents and babies for the last 15+ years. Now I get to offer that to you, my own private client!
