Hi! I'm Nicole and I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula, and am currently pursuing certification with DONA.  Located in Calgary, Alberta, I’m an animal lover and nature enthusiast, and I’m a big believer in bringing back “the village”. I have a passion for ADVOCACY and I am passionate about SUPPORTING, EDUCATING, and EMPOWERING individuals during their birthing journeys, and I am committed to advocating for inclusive and equitable care. As a doula, my goal is to provide unbiased, non-judgmental support, serving as a comforting and compassionate presence. I aim to empower you with evidence-based information so that you can feel confident in making informed choices. I am also passionate about serving underserved communities - whether supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and families, low-income communities, newcomers to Canada, or individuals with disabilities - creating a compassionate and affirming space that honours their identities and beliefs. I am passionate about supporting anyone who has ever felt ignored, marginalized, unheard unseen, or not respected in the healthcare space. My ultimate goal is to help people find their voice. Outside of work, I love spending time with my partner and our dog (my study buddy), going on adventures with friends, and enjoying the great outdoors, including hiking and camping. I also love cooking, travelling, and sharing laughter!
