I plan to give birth at Sharp Mary Birch, San Diego, CA. I would like to have a doula with me during labor and postpartum at the hospital and at home for about two weeks so I can recover well. I'll need the doula to take care of my postpartum needs especially with my food/nutrition so that I can produce enough breastmilk. Our due date is September 19th, so we’re hoping to connect quickly! This will be our second birth—I’m a second-time mom with an almost 3-year-old toddler boy. We’ll be delivering at UCSD Jacobs Medical Center, San Diego, and hoping for an unmedicated birth with flexibility. We had a doula lined up, but due to not being qualified with Carrot, it unfortunately fell through. Because of this, it’s essential that our doula be Carrot-qualified and able to accept payment through Carrot.
