Planning for a hospital birth as a first time mom. Im looking for a patient advocate who will respect my non invasive birth plan including denying vaccinations during my hospital stay, trying for a natural birth, and a calm environment. My insurance will cover the birth and a few visits prior to the birth.

I plan to give birth at a hospital. I want to try a natural delivery but I'm open to an epidural if I need it or ask for it. Delayed cord clamping, golden hour between baby and parents, skin to skin contact, baby just stay in the room at all times, relaxed environment, and I'd like to be able to move around or find comfortable positions during labor.

I would like a vaginal birth with minimal intervention. I’m not opposed to an epidural or life saving measures if needed. I want a doula in labor and delivery to ensure we aren’t being rushed or coerced into unnecessary medical procedure or intervention.

This is our first child, we're having a boy, and I'm aiming to do an all natural birth at sutter Davis hospital with a midwife! I'm open to an epidural if I really feel as though I can't keep going, but I want to use all possible tools to help me get through the pain. Hello! We live in Marin county but are planning to deliver at Kaiser San Francisco. I am looking for someone to work with before and after birth as well as who can attend the birth. I have 11 sessions covered by Kaiser insurance. I am hoping to find someone who can help advocate for me during the delivery. I do plan to get an epidural but I am interested in doing other things like pressure to mitigate pain (haven’t explored this just yet!).

This will be a hospital birth with an likely induction due to my age (42). I had gestational diabetes in my first pregnancy (diet and exercise managed) and expect it may return. I also anticipate using pain medication and an epidural. My priority is to have a doula who can work comfortably within a medical birth plan, provide emotional advocacy with hospital staff, and support for my husband and I, and if needed, use techniques like Spinning Babies. My first labor was a 42-hour induction with a sunny-side-up baby, and my doula’s Spinning Babies work helped her turn. Prenatal massage would be a bonus. Our estimated budget would be $1500-2500, although preferred on the lower side of this.
