I offer a range of services, including prenatal education classes, birth plan consultation, labor and birth support, postpartum support, and a newborn care class. In addition to my services, I work with a certified YogaBetter prenatal yoga instructor who can provide 1:1 prenatal and postpartum yoga classes, if you choose. I had a great experience working with Nafeesa on my birth plan. I came into the conversation with very little knowledge and she helped me understand my options and backed up everything with thorough research. We talked about everything from who I wanted in the room with me and how to prep them to advocate for me, books to read and videos to watch, the different moods to expect during different parts of labor and the hormones behind everything, and what to do immediately after the baby arrives and postpartum. She had a similar conversation with my partner to ensure we were on the same page and this really helped during labor and postpartum. Lastly, she was open to what I wanted to do and gave me the data but I didn’t feel any judgement for the choices I decided to make for my birth plan. I highly recommend her services!
