Need help with taking care of my baby as I’m having a csection surgery I know I will need a lot of help with getting up sitting and feeding my baby holding my baby changing my baby my husband has to go back home to take care of my other kid so I will need someone to be there with in hospital and home when I come home I need lots of help

I’m not sure which hospital out of loma linda, rancho, or Kaiser riverside so I’d like help with that decision as well. I have Kaiser that covers doula services so I’m not sure how to go about pay for that or how it works but want to learn more. I’m a also a first time mom and didn’t even know people went into labor with a “plan” so any information and guidance on what would be best as a black mom for maternal healthcare and for a black infant would be appreciated.

I am currently pregnant with my first baby, due January 30th. I live in Riverside County with my husband and our dog. We’re a Christian family, and faith is an important part of my life, so I would love to work with a doula who is open to supporting me emotionally and spiritually as well as practically. What I’m Looking For: • Postpartum support: Someone who can check in on me emotionally, help me adjust to motherhood, and watch for signs of postpartum depression/anxiety. • Practical support: Light household help, meal prep, and caring for the baby so I can rest, shower, or nap. • Feeding support: Guidance with breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding. • Family support: Involving my husband in baby care, showing him how to best support me, and helping us adjust as a team. • Faith-aligned care: Encouragement, prayer (if comfortable), and an understanding of how important my Christian faith is in this season.

Planning a natural birth, with no family close by to help with toddler. Which is why im requesting a birth doula. This would be our first time requesting a doula or midwife so we're not sure what our budget would be for this service. We're planning a hospital birth, but currently in the process of moving due to my husbands orders. Im not even sure what hospital I can go to. Im currently 30 weeks pregnant and to be honest im not even sure what to do. My first birth experience wasnt bad but it wasnt the greatest and had no guidance. I was lucky to have a vaginal birth with my first but with epidural at 41 weeks. I was induced because I wasnt fully informed. I would prefer not to be induced or receive pitocin because the contractions from that were horrible. They said I had to be induced because they couldn't really feel my baby moving, but I feel, now, that I could have done 100% natural without being induced. I don't want to feel coerced into making that decision again. I want skin to skin immediately, wait for my placenta to come naturally, and cut the umbilcal off when it has become pale, a decision that i wasnt allowed to make with my first. I'd hold off on vaccines at first except the vitamin k.
