Plan to give birth in the hospital, looking for someone for the birth and possibly post partum. Do not know price range at this time as I have never investigated this area of birth.

Planning to deliver in Irvine at Hoag, my budget is between $1000-2000. This is my first child and I have a lot of questions, I’m open to any birth options but I’d prefer vaginal as long as there are no complications.

I don’t know what my birth plan will be. It is my second birth, my first birth was very traumatic. My daughter was forced out via vacuum. Id like to be able to have a natural unmedicated birth but im not sure if im capable. I’d like to labor at home until absolutely necessary (I was induced before. Never ever again) I want as little medical intervention as possible but I am open to laughing gas. I am most comfortable in the shower/water but my at home tub is not big enough to fully labor/ give birth in. I’ve been seeing a traditional western OBGYN and I just don’t see her having my personal best interest and I’m just another run of the mill pregnancy. I love her as a person but maybe I have a disdain/trust for doctors. Need help being reminded of my beliefs and not giving into pressure and fear from hospital workers.

I plan Home birth, low cost, little to no intervention

I am still undecided on home vs. hospital birth but leaning towards home birth. This is my first baby so I am not sure of budget range. My birth plan is bulleted below: -No induction/water breaking -No catheter -No Pitocin/cytotec -No epidural -Pain: Laboring in tub, hot or cold therapy, massage, movement, bouncing on ball. -Try different birthing positions; all 4s, tug o war, birthing stool, side, anything except laying on back. -No forceps, no vacuum, apply perineal massage. -Birthing of placenta, naturally. Do not tug/pull it out. - Dim-lit or candle lighting. - Open to water/bath birth if my home is capable
