I plan to have a medicated birth in a hospital. I am using Medi-cal and can not afford to pay out of pocket. I don’t want an episiotomy, I’d prefer to not have a c-section if possible. I don’t want any procedures that are unnecessary done to me.

We are looking for a birth doula to support us as we prepare to welcome our first baby. We are traveling to the United States for the birth and are unfamiliar with the local birth processes, hospital procedures, and other related details. As this is our first baby, I feel uncertain about what to expect during labor and delivery, and I would greatly appreciate guidance on what to do during the birthing process. I hope for a natural delivery and would love support to achieve this goal.
