Packages
Birth Package
Provide generous phone, text and email contact throughout your pregnancy and postpartum period (during business hours, except for emergencies). A group text will be created once you submit your intake form. ● Conduct two virtual prenatal meetings (lasting 1.5-2 hours) where we discuss your birth preferences, go over comfort measures, labor positions, plans for postpartum, and any other concerns you might have. ● Be on-call for 24 hours a day beginning on week 38 of your pregnancy until the birth of your baby. ● Have phone contact with you during early labor and join you when you decide you would like me to, meeting you at your home, a birth center or the hospital, depending on your preferences and the current restrictions/concerns due to Covid. ● Attend your labor continuously (whether in person or virtually), providing physical comfort, emotional support, and information to assist you in decision-making. ● Offer suggestions, information, assistance, and reassurance. ● Take photos and/or video of your labor, birth, and postpartum if desired ● Serve as a liaison between you and the clinical staff, i.e., establishing rapport, reminding them of your preferences, and helping you ask questions so that you can have the information you need to make decisions. ● Remain with you (in person or virtual) for at least one to two hours postpartum to assist with initiating breastfeeding and other early postpartum needs. ● Provide you with at least one postpartum visit within 3-10 days of the birth of your baby to review your experience, answer questions, and provide referrals as needed (in person or virtual).
