Service introduction

I provide postpartum support in the initial days after families return home. This includes helping with postpartum bleeding, typical body changes post delivery, and extra care for c-section recovery. I am on hand for breastfeeding education as well as formula feeding support. I keep all bottles, pump parts, and baby related laundry moving through the system to reduce the chaos that may seem impossible to stay on top of. I am also a care provider, a listening ear, and a temporary bestie who will activate my sense of humor when needed. This new parent stuff is messy--physically and emotionally. I'm here to guide you through it with love, patience, and confidence. You'll quickly feel comfortable with me and trust that your baby is given the possible care while you're resting.

Meri is a doula extraordinaire. We slept so peacefully knowing our baby was well taken care of, loved and carefully watched all night. Meri is meticulous, communicative, thoughtful and a wealth of knowledge, especially for us first-time parents. Meri became part of our family during her weeks with us and we couldn't have survived that fragile postpartum time without her. Not only would we wake up to all the baby tasks done (perfectly), but she was a strong support system for all the postpartum changes for me as a mother. Hiring Meri was beneficial to our baby, our sleep, our marriage, my mental health and so many other aspects of our life. We already miss her dearly and highly recommend her to anyone looking for this type of care.
