Hi! My name is Meredith, and I am a Lactation Consultant. I have an 8 year old son and 6 year old daughter- and loving this stage of childhood they are in! My husband and I are originally from the Austin area in Texas, but have been here in Colorado for over 14 years now and love anything outdoorsy, dogs, family time and I love reading most genres of books. I have been a nurse for over ten years, serving many different patient populations. One of my favorite areas of nursing was as a mom baby nurse- which I did for 2.5 years- and found a passion for helping with breastfeeding and giving support to all different kinds of feeding plans. I have been an IBCLC for 3 years, and it’s been my favorite nursing career to date! My philosophy is to always support the families’ needs and wants- which I believe can look many ways to help babies thrive and grow, while also protecting the mental and physical health of the mom. I have worked with families who are triple feeding, combination feeding, have a baby or babies in the NICU, exclusively pumping, struggling with an oral tie, using a nipple shield, low supply, oversupply, using a supplemental nursing system, premature birth, wanting to wean, nursing a toddler and more. I love educating and supporting families before and after having a new baby- and every season can bring new challenges. I feel honored when I get to work with a family during this season of life because it’s such a vulnerable and special time to get to be a part of- and I personally know how important good support is during this time.

I offer in home lactation visits to help with latching, check the weight of your baby before and after feeding, review education around breast feeding, review how to use your pump and flange fit, teach parents how to pace bottle feed, help create a feeding plan and can visit before baby comes to answer any questions you may have. *the insurance companies listed I accept are through The Lactation Network and you will need to submit a form through their website to check coverage first.
