Hello, I’m Melissa, Blissful Births's proud owner and founder. As an Afro-Indigenous Birth Keeper and End-of-Life consultant, I’m dedicated to providing compassionate and holistic care to mothers and families throughout the profound journeys of birth and end-of-life transitions. With a strong foundation as a maternal educator, breastfeeding and lactation consultant, and birthkeeper, I offer various services designed to support every aspect of maternal care. My approach is deeply rooted in the eight pillars of wellness, ensuring that every client receives physically nurturing care and emotionally and spiritually enriching. At Blissful Births, I provide personalised prenatal and postpartum care, doula training and mentorship, and end-of-life support. My commitment is to empower families, helping them navigate these significant life moments with confidence and grace. I’m passionate about educating others, and as a mental health educator, I strive to foster environments where holistic health and well-being are prioritised. My services are tailored to embrace the natural rhythms of life, honouring traditional practices and herbal wisdom, reflecting my love for herbology and organic living. Gardening and growing spiritually in nature are central to my life. These passions inspire my work, where I blend ancient wisdom with modern care techniques, offering a unique and comprehensive approach to maternal and end-of-life services. Through Blissful Births, I aim to help families discover the beauty and strength within themselves, in alignment with the natural world and the divine.

I recently had the privilege of experiencing the exceptional services provided by Blissful Births, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. As an Afro-Indigenous Birth Keeper, Melissa Phillipe brings a unique blend of traditional wisdom and modern expertise to her practice, creating a holistic and supportive environment for mothers and families. Melissa's compassionate and personalised approach was evident in every interaction, from prenatal care to postpartum support. Her extensive knowledge as a maternal educator and breastfeeding consultant was invaluable, providing me with the information and confidence I needed to guide other families. The doula training and mentorship I received were thorough and empowering, equipping me with the skills necessary to support other mothers effectively. One of the standout aspects of Blissful Births is Melissa's dedication to creating a nurturing and spiritual atmosphere. Her holistic methods, including herbal and natural remedies, resonated deeply with my desire for an organic and mindful birthing experience. The emphasis on mental health education also ensured that my emotional well-being was prioritised, contributing to a positive and balanced overall experience.
