Hello! I'm Melinda, wife to Seth, and mother to Abigail, Luke, Keturah, Naomi, Isaac, Elijah, and Mattias. While my family lived in South Africa(2018-2019), I was blessed to become a certified doula through their WOMBS (women offering mothers birth support) program. I believe this experience opened my heart to truly seeing the importance of having a strong support system during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. Children are a blessing from the Lord and every mother deserves the best through her pregnancy/delivery. I personally have experienced 3 hospital births, 2 birth center deliveries, and 2 home births. I prefer to meet in person to get to know one another and to see if we are a good fit for one another. If we agree that I am the right doula for you, we will then discuss and personalize the doula support package to what best works for you. Upon agreement of hiring, I am available via call/text/email for unlimited communication. I love to have 1-2 prenatal visits, one that includes going over different laboring techniques. I will be with you through labor as soon as you would like me to be with you and then will stay at least 2 hours after baby is born. If a postpartum visit is desired, we will set that up after the birth.
