With over 20 years of experience supporting families across six countries, I bring a deep understanding of the diverse ways cultures nurture parent-child relationships. My journey into birth work began as a Health Community Worker, advocating for immigrant Latino families in New York. Later, while working at a mental health agency in Connecticut, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that nurturing, consistent, and responsive caregiving has on a child’s development. This realization fueled my passion for family support and led me to become a Birth and Postpartum Doula, ensuring families receive guidance and care from the very start of their parenting journey. Three years ago, I earned my certification in Perinatal Mental Health, allowing me to further support families through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Fluent in both Spanish and English, I am dedicated to creating a compassionate and culturally informed space for every family I serve.

She is so wonderful person. She helped me a lot during and after my pregnancy. 🤰. She is always there to listen carefully . She has so much is patient when is the time to teach, also she is so passionate for what she does. I have my first baby girl 👧🏻 in 2018 . She was born in week 37 in Singapore 🇸🇬. After 20 days she was with and hemangioma and she had some complications with that. Doctor didn’t know much about there and my little girl end in the hospital 🏥 . They had to send a strong medicine for just a 1 month old baby. 👶🏻 We were really scared, but thanks to Martha we could handle the situation. Now my daughter is 7 years old . And I am always going to be thankful with Martha for all the support she gave me.

Martha is not just a great doula but an exceptional human, she is kind, knowledgeable, funny, open, supportive and extremely empathetic. She was and still is a pivotal part of our journey as new parents. The challenges of maternity, postpartum and parenthood in general felt easier to deal with as Martha was by our side guiding us and supporting us. I have not words to express our gratitude for her, and definitely if you are looking to have someone supporting you beyond expectations Martha is exactly what you need. Thank you Martha 🙂

Martha Aicia was my guardian angel during my high risk pregnancy and unplanned c-section. She provide me with advice to overcome dificiilties during my third trimester as back pain and to help position baby. During labor she help me cope with the pain during a non medicated labor and support me emotionally to help me make the right desicions and accept the situation as it was. During the c-section she was a great support for my husband and make sure all the necessary actions were taken to make breastfeeding a succes as was my desired and the final result. After delivery she has provided me with invaluable support to take care of my newborn not only with practical advice as how to settle the baby but make sure emotionally i took the necessary steps to understand what was happening and make sure I was taking care of myself. My breastfeeding story has been a success thanks to her as she has help me solved every problem I have had and to keep in mind the ultimate goal of breastfeeding as long as possible, without her i would probably have quite a long time ago....I will be forever thankful to have Martha Alicia support during this time

I worked with Martha after I had my first baby. She was a great resource and helped me learn everything I needed to know about breastfeeding my first child. Martha was able to come over to me and my newborn on very short notice and was a calming presence in a time of newness and panic. Martha provided a lot of trips and tricks to me postpartum about how to take care of my new body and baby. I don’t know what I would have done postpartum without Martha and I would recommend her to anyone in search of a doula.

I don’t know how to express my gratitude to Martha our doula. No Facebook review would be enough to describe how great she was unless I sit to write out my entire birth-story. From my very first meeting with her in February till she left Singapore after my baby’s birth, Martha has been by our side every step of the way, guiding us, advising us, & most specially check in on us. She was the fairy godmother we needed during this last month. Her care for my body changes, our mental health, our and babies protection is so genuine & made me feel very safe. She was a ofcourse a rock star for me during the difficult labour. Her patient ,soothing & encouraging voice got me through the labour and birth. Her guidance after birth gives us new parents strength & confidence . Martha I already miss you , please come back to Singapore . Thanks and Regards Jo and Thib

Thank God for Martha, she has been an angel sent to help us and provide us with information since we met, which has allowed us to make decisions and trust them, as well as have confidence in this new and important stage of our lives. Alba and I appreciate every advice given and the great willingness regardless of time and/or place. We wish with all our hearts that you continue to help couples in this process, which is definitely not easy. If someone is looking for recommendations, here they are, Martha quickly becomes part of your family, available, with the desire, experience and information to help and with excellent principles and values. I'm certain that no one will regret having her by their side. A big hug and many blessings.

Having a baby in a foreign country was quite hard, which is why I’m so grateful for meeting Martha in my last trimester of pregnancy. She gave me a lot of comfort and support in the joyful but also very stressful first months as a mum. Martha is a kind, warm and reliable person who is doing a wonderful job as a doula!
