Empowered Birth Planning: A Comprehensive 2-Hour Session for Expectant Parents

During birth, you are going to be presented with a lot of information and asked to make lots of decisions. Whether your plan is to deliver vaginally, with/out pain management, are induced, having a scheduled cesarean, planning to breastfeed - your concerns and questions need to be voiced heard and acknowledged. We will explore these options and, together, work through their benefits and risks prenatally. You and your partner will walk away from your birth planning session more confident and better prepared to welcome your new baby. Some of the topics discussed during our meeting are: Signs of labor overview How to time contractions Stages and phases of birth When to go to the hospital Hospital arrival what to expect Labor and delivery options Solutions to stalled labor and positions for birthing your baby Understanding the “golden hour” after birth, and your options during this intimate time (ie: immediate skin-to-skin contact, establishing breastfeeding, delayed cord clamping, etc) Common hospital policy questions handout specific to your birth location 20+ page e-book covering the points discussed during your session in depth, including “must have” gear for you, your partner, and your baby. Our birth planning sessions are designed for women who want to be empowered by their options during birth and delivery.

Holistic Prenatal and Birth Doula Care: Comprehensive Support for Pregnancy, and Birth

Prenatal + Birth Doula Care As a doula, we are trained childbirth professionals experienced in providing support for fertility, pregnancy and new motherhood. Serving as a calm supporting presence and an emotional lighthouse for the client. Offering a wide array of birthing modalities, resources, and education, client advocacy, and assistance with comfort measures, mindfulness techniques, and positioning. Anatomy of Labor & Birth An exploration of the sacred anatomy and how birth works. Comfort Measures + Essential Oils A hands-on session exploring techniques and tools to enhance comfort in late pregnancy and to integrate during labor as well as a primer on aromatherapy to enhance the experience of birth. Mindfulness Learning to integrate tools of meditation, deep listening, and self-care that support mental and emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and preparation for labor. Nutrition + Lifestyle Support An examination and tune-up of your dietary and lifestyle practices to help better align you with your goals during pregnancy to assist with optimal wellbeing. Parenting Prep Breastfeeding + Newborn Care Getting confident in how to take care of a baby, get all of your questions answered. Virtual Doula Support Audio, video and text communication to support clients at a distance and help with troubleshooting pre-labor as well as preparing for birth. In-Person Birth Support
