About Madeline

My name is Madeline "Maddy" Ishmael and I am a certified birth doula through DONA since 2019, certified lactation consultant through Healthy Children Project and a prenatal yoga teacher. I believe my work with parents is about guiding them towards their innate wisdom and to provide evidence based approaches as they navigate their options to make the best decision for their family. I am committed to uplifting and affirming QTBIPOC families and believe that everyone has the right to be represented and affirmed with inclusive language. I believe that everyone should embark on their reproductive journey feeling joyful.

I do offer services on a sliding scale for QTBIPOC clients. If you don't fall into this category but would still like to discuss sliding fee options, I do have an outline that I will send to show whether or not you would qualify for my discounted services.
