I plan to deliver at Stanford ValleyCare hospital in Pleasanton. This is my second pregnancy. My estimated budget is $3,000. Mostly looking for birthing support especially since I have anxiety that gets triggered when I don't have much control over a situation. I would like to labor for as long as possible without medication. For my first delivery I labored naturally until I was 8 cm dilated before I chose to get an epidural. I may need postpartum doula support, especially with breastfeeding, since it was a struggle the first time around. A night nanny may also be needed since I have mental health issues that become exacerbated with lack of sleep.

I’m in the Stanislaus area but am a patient with Standford and they want me to give birth in Pleasanton. I was just informed can’t do water birth at this location if I do want water birth delivery could be more in like Palo Alto. But I am planning to give birth at a hospital. I have no funds I am straight medi-cal(fee-for-free) service and have to go thru this. Was informed I should be able to receive thru this. I don’t fully have birth plan down but my doctor is trying to fight with some options I’m looking at or wanting. I need help kind of coming up with one. I know I want delayed cord clamping till cord is white(doc says can’t go past 90secs but not what I want), due to scoliosis and other issues do not want a epidural but to know what other options may be useful or I can do to avoid this route, I want to be able to move around, I do not want to give birth on my back(doc wants me on my back), not sure what’s best way wondered about squat type position but because I had knee surgery year ago was told water birth may be better option for this and because of my hypermobility EDS, chronic inflammation/pain, etc. I want to know what might be another way I could deliver that would benefit me. I do not want to give my child the eye cream,or hep b shot, I’m not sure I want to give my child the vitamin k shot(doc is definitely pushing vitamin k shot and saying u need to give your child hep b vaccine because she’s gonna live her life and she needs it as a baby even though there is no reason she needs the shot.), I want to use a birthing ball, maybe running water, aroma therapy in the room, I am also marked high risk.

I believe having a birth doula is vital for parents who have a baby in the NICU, whether it be from congenital abnormalities or prematurity. This is a passionate topic for me since I was a preemie born at 27 weeks as a result of a traumatic birth. My life is shaped by that as a physically disabled person. I think shadowing a postpartum doula would be vital for me as someone so intimately shaped by these experiences. I am free after August 24, since I am between Berkeley and San Ramon. 1. I prefer Kaiser San Leandro Centre. 2. Ideally, I would like someone who works with Kaiser, as I have benefits through it. 3. I would prefer a natural-born child.

I live in Union City, California and plan to give birth at Kaiser Permanente San Leandro. My primary concern is my desire for a successful VBAC and utilizing unmedicated pain management for as long as possible. I asked for these in my first birth and felt ignored or brushed over.

Need extra support, and help especially closer to delievery

Planning to give birth in Washington Hospital in Fremont CA. Plan is to go for an unmedicated birth for as long as possible.

I am located in Fremont and am looking for a labor/delivery as well as postpartum doula to help in the later afternoon/evening time frame. This will be our second child and could use the help to watch our second child during the time we spend with our firstborn. I will be delivering at San Leandro Kaiser and am using Kaiser’s doula benefit for around a week or two post Partum.

I plan to give birth at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, CA. My OBGYN has scheduled an induction via foley bulb due to my gestational diabetes, on December 12, 2025 if I do not go into labor on my own. Realistically, my estimated budget is $500. My birth plan involves being able to have a positive birth experience as a first time mom with minimal medical intervention as possible. I believe my body was made for this and I need the support to help me go through it mentally. I want to be able to give birth as naturally as possible, unmedicated is my goal, with the use of birthing support tools for pain management such as deep breathing, counter pressure, water therapy with a shower, birthing ball, and being mobile. I prefer delayed cord clamping until the umbilical is white and stops pulsating and immediate skin to skin contact with uninterrupted golden hour or 2 hrs for baby bonding and help from a lactation consultant to assist with breast feeding. My spouse is my main support person and he may need support as well if he feels overwhelmed.

Planning an unmedicated, physiological birth at Kaiser San Leandro for the birth of our second child. I am also a birth doula but looking for additional support. Hoping to land int the $1500 range (depending on packages offered etc.). Extra points if you love Jesus! :)
