I am a South Minneapolis-based birth doula and massage therapist. I have been a bodyworker for eight years, and co-own Total Solace Massage in Uptown, Minneapolis. I have attended trainings by DONA (2018) and Community Aware Birthworker (2024). My approach to birth is open-minded. I believe my role is to help you have the right experience for you, to make sure you know what options you have, and then help you navigate whatever is in the cards. Regardless of your birthing wishes, I bring my grounded, dedicated presence to my clients before, during and after the birthing time. Much of my life orbits care-work, especially through building strong community connections and supporting human bodies as they navigate change. Outside of birth and bodywork, I train in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, I’m slowly learning to bake bread, and I am trying to befriend the neighborhood crows.

Before your birth we will meet one or two times in your home. This time allows us to get to know one another, explore your values/hopes/goals for birth, and build a birth preference plan. We can also practice comfort measures, begin a postpartum plan, and chat about a feeding plan.I offer one pregnancy massage in your prenatal time, built into the birth support package Additional sessions will be discounted 15%. You will have *unlimited virtual support*. From the moment I join your team, you are welcome to call or text me with questions, updates, observations, or for emotional support. During during labor and birth, I’ll listen and talk through those first signals your body is sending you and will be on call 24/7 to join you at home or at your chosen birthing location when you decide you are ready. Once I am called to your side, will be with you throughout your birth, 100% of the time. I bring non-judgemental decision making support, advocacy, and teamwork with your partner to bring you ease. If you are planning a C-section, I’m happy to be present. If you are hoping for a vaginal birth and experience a change of plans, I will do what I can to join you in the OR. After your little one has landed, ’ll stick around at your birthing location for two hours after your birth and then we will have two postpartum visits in your home. We can discuss your birth experience and you can receive a little at-home care. Once your doula, always your doula - I’ll continue to be available for phone and text support after our contract is up!
