I'm not confirmed pregnant yet, but hoping to be pregnant soon. This will be my 2nd pregnancy. My first ended in emergency c-section due to my baby's low heart rate and the umbilical being wrapped twice around his neck. A vaginal, unmedicated birth was my goal. I'm looking for a provider that is supportive of low-intervention VBACs with a low c-section rate. I'm leaning toward a hospital birth, just for the security if something goes wrong again and a c-section is the only option to save my baby's life again. I'd also be curious to get an estimated out-of-pocket cost and to learn what services my insurance would cover.

I am open to possibilities of hospital birth but I would prefer a home birth. Still undecided. I don't know the price ranges for this service yet, not sure what to expect or what I need to come up with. Will decide if I can afford it after I find a price range. We currently don’t have a birth plan but we are looking for someone with strong Christian background, can help educate us better with a birth plan, the birthing process(natural and medicated), what comes after, vaccines, and postpartum.
