I am Full Spectrum Doula for three years striving to craft a practice in which I work with women during pregnancy to seek evidence-based information, and to feel capable, confident, and strong as consumers, as birthing women, and as life-givers. Regardless of their birth choices, these prenatal visits, as well as the additional communication during my clients’ pregnancies, have the potential to set women on a path of making their own decisions and trusting themselves throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period .As is so often the case with birth, things may go completely differently than envisioned. But with a strong foundation of trust in themselves, their bodies, and their supporting person going into labor, a doula can help support a woman to have a powerful birthing experience in which she is an active participant and the ultimate decision maker. Birth services includes clients with 3 prenatal coaching sessions. I believe that each pregnancy is unique, and requires a high level of attention and care. During our sessions, we will discuss all of your concerns, thoughts, and feelings. You and your support person will be equipped with all of the knowledge and resources needed to birth confidently. I am always accessible outside of monthly visits. Clients have unlimited phone, text, and email accessibility. This is especially important for mothers who need answers to questions throughout their pregnancy. In-Home Postpartum support includes: - Infant care and soothing techniques - Breastfeeding support and education - Infant feeding assistance and education - Support and education in postpartum adjustment, mood disorders, and normal changes - care and support with siblings - Laundry and light household help and support - Meal preparation - Caring for baby while mom rests - 24/7 on call assistance
