I am passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, labor & birth as a birth doula. I provide prenatal childbirth education to all clients, making sure that everyone approaches childbirth with the basic understanding of what's going on internally, and how to work WITH your body's natural hormones, not against them, to get the best birthing experience possible. I support birth wherever it happens (home, hospital, or birthing center) and am especially passionate about supporting VBACs and home births.

Two prenatal appointments (~2 hours each) These meetings are for us to get to know each other, and also to go over your birth preferences, your basic intake information, support-person preferences, when to contact your doula, to go over any fears or concerns you have about birth, one childbirth education call, etc. Support through your labor & birth Whether your labor takes 4 hours or 24 hours, I will be there with you, starting in active labor, either in person or virtually. Continued support for one-two hours after birth I will stay with you until you and your baby are comfortable, all tests and procedures have been done, and you feel safe. I will assist in helping baby’s first latch, if breastfeeding and if help is needed/ wanted. One postpartum check-in visit This visit is to process your birth experience with you and your partner, check in with how you are doing, talk about any resources that may be helpful to you at that point, give you any write ups or notes I have from your birth, and give you any photography, if that was part of your plan with me. I will come to your home for this meeting.
