I plan to give birth either in a birth center or hospital - location TBD. We are currently in Ohio and are moving to CA in December; our new location will be at Edwards AFB in southern California. We are hoping to find a doula covered by tricare in the local area of Edwards AFB and/or its surrounding areas. I would like a natural, low-intervention birth.

My baby is 5 months of age, teething, and he’s been getting distracted and/or refusing bottles at times, although we have some techniques to help him drink his bottles. I’ve been mostly nursing him, and he also receives supplementation of formula daily and sometimes pumped breastmilk (combo-feeding). Right now, we’re going to have to do more bottle feeding to make sure that he’s getting enough milk, and I’m going to have to be pumping more. I’m looking for a doula (who accepts Kern Family Health Care insurance plan) for some help, mainly some help with light chores, like washing bottle/feeding stuff, laundry (mainly baby stuff and some of my stuff that I wash with his, like blouses, sweaters, nursing covers, etc.), and a bit of meal prep (I’m vegan and eat plant-based). My husband works 4 days of the week, and helps me when he gets home and on his days off. We live with my parents who are older. I’m doing most tasks by myself when he’s not home, so some help for a couple of hours or so on days when he’s working would be helpful. I’m also looking for a lactation consultant, so if you’re both, please let me know, or if you’re a lactation consultant who accepts my insurance plan. Thank you. :)

Hello, I am looking for a doula / Volunteer doula to come and help me deliver my baby. I'm 30 weeks into the pregnancy. We have a toddler and couldn't find anyone to look for him, after talking to a babyliadvice counsellor, she referred me to you thinking a doula could be the right option. I am planning to give birth at Cedars-Sinai in Beverly hills (los angeles) I just started researching a doula, so we do not have allote budget for now.
