Birth & Postpartum Doula

About me

I am a proud boy mom to three wonderful boys who will someday change the world. I am an Army Medic and EMT. I love helping people, but felt called to develop my passion for birth work after my second child was born in the height of COVID during an amazing home birth. I have learned that there is so much to be honored in pregnancy, the birthing space, and the postpartum period, and I love being able to help families feel empowered and supported during those transitions.

Postpartum Day Support
Everyone needs an extra set of hands with a baby in the house. Here are a few suggestions as to what a doula can do for you during the day postpartum: Attend doctor appointments (for birthing parent and/or baby) to help make sure questions you have at 2:00am are being asked and properly answered Help with newborn care Watching baby so you can rest and catch up on sleep Help with birthing parent care Light house work to help things not feel as overwhelming Someone to intervene to stop in-laws from kissing the baby Food prep! I am an excellent cook and would love to cook a big batch of soup or my favorite Shepard's Pie recipe for you or use one of your family favorite recipes. Kitchen clean up included.
