Congratulations on this exciting journey! Welcoming a new baby changes your life. Whether this is your first or fifth, I want you to feel informed, empowered, and confident in your choices. I’m a birth and postpartum doula based in Pocatello, Idaho, serving families throughout the surrounding areas. My goal is to nurture and support you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum so you never feel alone. I believe birth is a normal physiological process and not a medical event. Every family deserves to feel safe, respected, and heard. Birth is meant to be intimate and sacred, but our current care system often overlooks that. I want to help restore that sense of trust and connection. My journey into birth work began with my own path to motherhood. My husband and I have five children — four girls and one boy — and we spent eight years raising our family in Utah before relocating to Pocatello in 2020. Becoming a mother has been the single most meaningful and transformative experience of my life — and also the hardest. From facing high-risk pregnancies, premature birth, feeding struggles, and NICU stays, I know how much it means to have someone by your side who listens, reassures, and nurtures you through it all. I’ve always felt called to this work as a way to honor the generations of women who came before me and to walk beside those navigating this vulnerable, powerful time. It’s a sacred honor to be invited into the inner circle of a birthing woman and hold space as she brings new life into the world and as she is born into motherhood. Professionally, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Utah. I trained with DONA International and am cross-certified with ProDoula as both a Birth and Postpartum Doula. My approach blends evidence-based education with heartfelt, personalized care so that every family feels empowered, nurtured, and supported. POSTPARTUM HOURLY SUPPORT

Schedule necessary support after the baby arrives in the comfort of your home. Support is based on your needs. Commonly includes healing tips for parent, infant care, breast/bottle feeding assistance, routine management, light housekeeping, educational and emotional support, and help with meals and errands. Rate is reduced by booking in a package.

What is your availability?

I take two total birth or postpartum clients per month. This allows me to devote my full attention to my client’s needs.

Do you have a backup system in place?

I have several contacts available as backups for all my births in case of an emergency. If a backup is needed, I try my best to ensure a meeting can take place before the birth if requested.

How can you approach my experience without personal bias?

Every pregnancy and birth is unique. Each of my own were different in many ways. It is my mission to give each family the personal loving support they need. My personal opinions have no bearing on the information I give you. I am constantly learning to ensure you have the most up to date evidence to make your own decisions for your unique situation.

How will you react if I make a different decision than you would?

What is most important to me is that you feel supported, safe, and in control of your own body and choices. I give you evidence based information to make your own decisions. What I may choose for myself will often be different than what you will choose. I will support you in whatever you decide. This is a judgment free zone.

How will you respect and support the relationship with my partner?

Every family is unique with their own dynamics. During birth my first priority is the mother or birthing person. I will honor your wishes first and foremost. That includes honoring the relationship of anyone you choose to be at the birth. In serving my families postpartum, I am there to support the whole family. That will look different for everyone and your needs.

Do you have strategies for supporting all types of labor and birth?

No two labors and birth are exactly the same. I have many resources for supporting all types of births. My tool bag is always expanding to support each circumstance.
