Service introduction

I currently offer childbirth/labor and postpartum doula services, childbirth education, and infant massage instruction classes. I am working toward getting my certification from Birth Arts International for birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, human milk feeding support, and bereavement support and from Institute of Somatic Therapy, I have completed the coursework, but for certification I need to teach a few classes. I have done the Birth Art training and Taming Fear workshops through Birthing From Within and am working on becoming a Mentor through their Heart of Mentoring course.

Prenatal Partner Doula Class
There is a ton of pressure on partners to be able to support their birthing loved ones nowadays. The problem is that most have never been present at an actual birth!! How unfair is it to expect them to know how to react, what is going to happen, or how to provide the best support to mom when they don't fully know what to do? And sometimes, partners just need a safe way to get their own fears and feelings out, without being judged. I can offer a one-on-one class with your partner to get to know them, suggest some techniques to help the birthing person cope during labor, and to discuss any uneasiness they may have about the approaching labor.
