Krista is like an angel! As soon as I interviewed her she made me feel so comfortable, and I knew she was to Doula for me throughout my pregnancy. She would check in to see if I had any questions, and to check how I was physically and emotionally. If I did have questions, she was always so great at getting back to me quickly. She also came to a prenatal appointment with me to meet my Midwife, which I thought was really cool. I had contractions for days before actual labor, and she was ready to help as soon as I needed her. I labored at home with her by my side and she was such a comfort. She also helped my husband feel reassured, which helped him feel confident in helping me himself. She also encapsulated my placenta for me. I didn’t know whata doula was with my first pregnancy three years before, and having her made all the difference in labor. I wish everyone could use her as their Doula. The fact that she’s a mom herself who has used many of the techniques she help me use to stay calm, breathe through the pain, and be confident about birth was so comforting. She cares so much about the mom she’s trying to help and you can feel the love she has for her role as a Doula. I would choose her again and again.
